Leadership Assessments, Are They Worth It?

If that is so, consider the following question - Are formal assessments really worth the effort?
To answer this and other “provocative” questions related to assessments, we, at ICF New Jersey, will hear the various perspectives from our panelists and our audience during the “Navigating Assessments: The Why, What and How” webinar on Wednesday, June 14th, 7:00-8:30 PM. Click here to register.
Our panelists, Jill Gillard, MS, PCC, Kelli Kombat, PCC, and Carmela O’Flaherty, M.Ed, PCC, CEC, CPQC, with Dr. Mindy L. Gewirtz, MCC, as a facilitator, will present three assessments they use in their respective coaching practices – each with a different focus:
1. The Hogan
2. IDI - Intercultural Diversity Institute
3. What’s My Communication Style
You should attend if you are curious to learn whether:
- Assessments are worth the effort (in general and specifically those presented) – for individual clients, teams, and organizations.
- These assessments can grow your practice and help you attain new assignments.
- Getting certified or learning about them is worth the financial investment, and if so, what credentials are needed to administer them?
Most importantly, you will hear how other coaches use these assessments in their coaching practice – what a great opportunity for all to share our respective experiences!
We do NOT have all the answers (of course!) but will undoubtedly arrive at solutions that work best for you. We welcome you to personally weigh in – before and during the discussion.
